I attended Dixie Band Camp in 1978, '79, & '80 I was Head Quartermaster in 1980. After graduating from Ouachita Baptist in 1986, I became a touring musician playing keyboards for different Nashville Country Music Acts. I came off the road in 1994 and started my own Record Label. In 2013 I sold the Masters from that label and today I am Director of Contracting for a Pharmaceutical Company. I loved Dixie. Point South!

My favorite memory of Dixie Band Camp was definitely when I had to opportunity to perform the flute solo in Arabesque when I made the 3rd band in my sixth year of camp! Hanah Neece Flute Six Years

I attended Dixie Band Camp in 74, 75, and 76. Please, any alumni of that time, post photos. We had so much fun and were very serious musicians. It was a great experience!

I attended Dixie as a student from 1955-61, and then taught at Dixie from 62-68. I lived from summer to summer, with Dixie the real highlight of my (music) life. So, so many memories, and kept up playing, degrees in flute, still teaching , have sent several students to Dixie, & will continue to do so. http://www.fluteconnection.net/mcclain/
